HAMPTON ROADS, Va.--Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters Health System recently appointed Dennis M. Ryan as senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer.
Ryan is a 20-year healthcare management veteran who comes to CHKDHS from a similar position at the Children’s Hospital Central California in Madera/Fresno. He assumed his new duties in early September. In addition to being a certified public accountant, he has a master’s degree in health administration from Chapman University, Orange, Calif., and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Fresno.
“Dennis comes to us with a wealth of knowledge regarding successful financial management in a children’s hospital environment,” said CHKD president and CEO Jim Dahling. “I’m very happy to have him join the leadership team at CHKD.”
Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters is the only facility of its kind in Virginia, serving the medical and surgical needs of children throughout greater Hampton Roads, the Eastern Shore of Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.
