Krisp-Pak Fundraiser to Benefit CHKD
HAMPTON ROADS, Va.—Throughout the month of April, Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters will receive 5 cents for every package of Krisp-Pak spinach sold at all area Farm Fresh, Gene Walters Marketplace, and Super K-Mart locations.
Krisp-Pak has been a longtime supporter of Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters, and thanks to their generosity, beginning April 1 and continuing until April 30, spinach eaters will be able to reap the nutritional benefits of this leafy green vegetable while helping support CHKD.
Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters is the only facility of its kind in Virginia, and serves the medical and surgical needs of children throughout greater Hampton Roads, the Eastern Shore of Virginia, and northeastern North Carolina. The not-for-profit hospital was founded in 1961 and provides care to nearly 150,000 children each year as inpatients and outpatients, addressing routine and complex illnesses, injuries and chronic conditions. The CHKD Health System operates primary care pediatric practices, surgical practices, multi-service Health Centers, and satellite offices throughout its service region.
