SUFFOLK, (Va) – Triple T Sports Center in Suffolk will celebrate National Gymnastics Day on August 7 with a special benefit for Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests will enjoy demonstrations of gymnastics, karate, cheerleading, and dance, along with a moon walk, face painting, games, and door prizes. The event will be held at Triple T Sports Center on Constance Road in Suffolk. It’s free and open to the public. All proceeds benefit CHKD. For more information, call (757)923-5150. Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters is the only facility of its kind in Virginia, serving the medical and surgical needs of children throughout greater Hampton Roads, the Eastern Shore of Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. The not-for-profit hospital was founded in 1961 and provides care to nearly 150,000 children each year as inpatients and outpatients, addressing routine and complex illnesses, injuries and chronic conditions. The CHKD Health System operates primary care pediatric practices, surgical practices, multi-service Health Centers and satellite offices throughout its service region.
