SERTOMA’S ‘BIG CHILL’ EVENT TO BENEFIT CHKD
HAMPTON ROADS, VA. -- Sertoma By The Bay will host The Big Chill, a dancing and dining event, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, at the Holiday Inn Sunspree, 3900 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters.

Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters is the only facility of its kind in Virginia, serving the medical and surgical needs of children throughout greater Hampton Roads, the Eastern Shore of Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. The not-for-profit hospital was founded in 1961 and provides care to approximately 160,000 children each year as inpatients and outpatients, addressing routine and complex illnesses, injuries and chronic conditions. The CHKD Health System operates primary care pediatric practices, surgical practices, multi-service Health Centers and satellite offices throughout its service region. The organization also includes a child care center, Center for Pediatric Research, health education initiatives and a multitude of avenues through which our very generous community provides philanthropic support, including numerous Thrift Store locations.
