WAL-MART, SAM’S CLUB, AMF NORFOLK LANES TO HOLD BOWLING BENEFIT FOR CHKD, JULY 17

HAMPTON ROADS, Va. — Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, and AMF Norfolk Lanes will present the inaugural Bowling Benefit for CHKD, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday, July 17, at the AMF Norfolk lanes at Little Creek and Azalea Gardens Roads in Norfolk. Come out and bring the kids for food, fun, carnival-themed attractions and bowling specials. Proceeds will benefit Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters. Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters is the only facility of its kind in Virginia, serving the medical and surgical needs of children throughout greater Hampton Roads, the Eastern Shore of Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. The not-for-profit hospital was founded in 1961 and provides care to approximately 160,000 children each year as inpatients and outpatients, addressing routine and complex illnesses, injuries and chronic conditions. The CHKD Health System operates primary care pediatric practices, surgical practices, multi-service Health Centers and satellite offices throughout its service region.
