Food Lion Carnival to Benefit CHKD, June 3
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA.
– Food Lion will host an old-fashioned carnival for the whole family to benefit Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, June 3, at the store located at 5461 Wesleyan Drive, in the Wesleyan Shopping Center in Virginia Beach.
Fun and games will include a NASCAR simulator, slides, moonwalk, face painting, and an antique car show. There will also be presentations by the Virginia Beach Fire and Police Department and performances by a live band and clowns. Traditional carnival treats will include snow cones, hotdogs and cotton candy. For information or directions, call Food Lion at 499-8133.
