Knights of Pythias Hooters Motorcycle Ride to Benefit CHKD, July 9
NORFOLK, VA. – The 7th annual Knights of Pythias Hooters Motorcycle Ride, in memory of Bobby Riggs, and to benefit Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters, will be held on Sunday, July 9. The ride will begin with registration from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Knights of Pythias Beach Lodge #169, located at 3467 Azalea Garden Road in Norfolk. The first rider will leave at 9 a.m. and all riders must arrive by noon at the Hooters restaurant located at 1160 North Military Highway. The registration fee is $15 for a single rider, with a $10 fee for an additional rider. The fee includes doughnuts and coffee, lunch at Hooters, ride pins for the first 200 riders, entertainment and awards. All funds raised will be donated to Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters. CHKD is the only facility of its kind in Virginia, serving the medical and surgical needs of children throughout greater Hampton Roads, the Eastern Shore of Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.
