25th Annual Holly Festival of Trees

November 16-17 at the Portsmouth Renaissance Hotel

The Norfolk City Union of The King’s Daughters will host its 25th Annual Holly Festival of Trees November 16 and 17 at the Portsmouth Renaissance Hotel. More than 40 fully-decorated holiday trees, featuring themes from the whimsical to the extravagant, as well as one-of-a-kind wreaths and amazing gingerbread creations will form a sparkling setting for three special celebrations:
  • Luncheon and Fashion Show, Friday, November 16, 11:30 a.m. Featuring a gourmet lunch with a cash bar, a runway fashion show provided by Dillard’s MacArthur Center, a preview of the trees, wreaths and gingerbread creations and a silent auction of designer handbags. Tickets $40/person.
  • Gala Auction, Friday, November 16, 7-11 p.m. Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, open bar, music by the Rhondels and your chance to bid on holiday trees, gifts and décor. Bruce Rader of WAVY TV 10 will be emcee the lively bidding. Tickets $80/person.
  • Breakfast with Santa, Saturday, November 17, 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Kids of all ages can enjoy breakfast, a photos with Santa, model trains, activities, crafts and interactive exhibits courtesy of the Children’s Museum of Virginia and the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame. Tickets $15 per person.
