Virginia Beach Pediatrician Wins National Emergency Medical Service Honor
Norfolk, Va. -
Dr. Theresa Guins, a pediatrician at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters, received national recognition for her efforts to improve pediatric emergency medical care.
Emergency Medical Service for Children (EMSC) honored Guins, noting that her “dedication and wealth of knowledge within EMSC are well-known throughout Virginia and the nation.”
Guins, who lives in Virginia Beach, obtained her medical degree from New York University and has practiced at CHKD since 1995, specializing in emergency medicine.
