AAP recommends cholesterol screening for children
HAMPTON ROADS, Va. — The American Academy of Pediatrics issued guidelines calling for overweight children and children with a family history of high cholesterol, diabetes or heart disease to be screened for elevated cholesterol as early as age two and no later than age 10.
