Childhood Cancer Survivor Day
Saturday, September 27, in Norfolk
NORFOLK, VA. - Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters will host its fifth annual Childhood Cancer Survivor Day on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Waterside Hotel in Norfolk.
The event's theme is "Conquering the Challenges of Childhood Cancer” and the keynote speaker will be Sean Swarner, a two-time cancer survivor who has climbed the highest mountains on six continents. Swarner will also sign his book, “Keep Climbing: How I beat Cancer and Reached the Top of the World.”
