Holly Festival of Trees to Benefit CHKD
November 21-22 in Norfolk
The Holly Festival of Trees, a project of The King's Daughters to benefit CHKD, will be held November 21 and 22 at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott in downtown Norfolk. The Festival will consist of three special events:
- Luncheon and Fashion Show, Friday, November 21, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. This popular event will feature fashions from Beverly's and a silent auction of handbags. Tickets are $40 and must be purchased in advance.
- Gala and Auction, Friday, November 21, 7-11 p.m. Featuring more than 45 beautifully decorated trees, plus enchanting gingerbread creations, elaborate gift items and spectacular wreaths designed and donated by local artists, designers, businesses and community groups.This year’s gala will feature a tree decorated by CHKD’s Childhood Cancer Program. All holiday trees and décor will be auctioned off to the highest bidders by master of ceremonies Taylor Franklin, emcee Bruce Rader and auctioneer Scott Freeman. Tickets are $100 and include heavy hors d’ oeuvres, open bar and live music by Borderline Crazy!
- Breakfast with Santa, Saturday, November 22, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Includes interactive children’s exhibits, games, crafts, door prizes, holiday entertainment and photos with Santa. Buffet-style breakfast served from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tickets are $15
