Gastroenterologist with interest in childhood obesity joins CHKD
HAMPTON ROADS, Va.— Dr. Nancy Yokois, who trained at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, joined the gastroenterology division of Children’s Specialty Group practicing at CHKD.
After earning her medical degree at the University of Medicine and Science’s Chicago Medical School, Dr. Yokois trained at Schneider’s Children’s Hospital in New York and Wyler’s Children’s Hospital in Chicago.
She completed a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition at Johns Hopkins. Most recently she served as section chief of gastroenterology at Banner Pediatric Subspecialty Group in Mesa, Arizona.
Her interests include pediatric obesity.
