CHKD elects new staff officers
HAMPTON ROADS, Va. – Pediatric anesthesiologist Mark Polak was recently elected president of the CHKD Professional Staff, which includes 445 physicians and 143 allied health professionals practicing at CHKD.
CHKD hematologist-oncologist Herbert Bevan was elected vice president. Dr. Polak and Dr. Bevan both practice with Children’s Specialty Group. CHKD’s Surgical Group pediatric plastic and reconstructive surgeon George Hoerr was elected secretary.
