Kohl’s donates $89,500 to establish Kohl’s FitKids program 


WHAT: Check presentation to be held prior to the Tides Game on August 11 at 5:35 p.m.  Kohl’s will be presenting a check for $89,500 to Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters prior to the Norfolk Tides game against the Rochester Red Wings.

WHO: This year's grant will launch a new campaign called Kohl’s FitKids, a community-based program designed to educate families about the importance of staying fit and making healthy food choices.  In the past nine years, Kohl’s has donated more than $785,213 to Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters through Kohl’s Cares®.
