Lisa Ulmer, PhD, Joins Developmental Pediatrics

Children's Specialty Group welcomes Lisa Ulmer, PhD, to the developmental pediatrics practice at CHKD.

Developmental pediatrics at CHKD provides consultations for the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, attention disorders, birth defects, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, intellectual disability, learning disabilities, motor coordination problems (dyspraxia) and speech-language problems. 

Lisa Ulmer, PhD

After receiving her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University, Ulmer completed further training in developmental psychology at VCU. 


She then completed a pre-doctoral internship accredited by the American Psychological Association at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she also completed the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program.

Ulmer completed her post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology.

About Caroline Campbell

Prior to joining CHKD as a physician liaison, Campbell worked for four years as an exercise physiologist and business development manager for NovaCare Rehabilitation and was responsible for outpatient physical therapy facilities in Delaware, Maryland, Southeast Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in exercise science from the University of Delaware, with a concentration in kinesiology and applied physiology and a minor in Spanish.
