Hematology & Oncology (CSG)
The hematology/oncology specialists provide care to infants, children and adolescents with blood disorders and cancer. Diagnosis and treatment of the red blood cell and hemoglobin abnormalities of hemostatic disorders and leukocyte disorders are available.
Special procedures performed include bone marrow aspirates and biopsies, laboratory evaluations of bleeding and thrombotic disorders, lumbar punctures, platelet aggregation and vonWillebrand factor analysis.
