General Academic Pediatrics (CMG)

CHKD General Academic Pediatrics is dedicated to the highest standard of pediatric care. All of our physicians have met stringent requirements set by national certification organizations. At CHKD General Academic Pediatrics your child's care will be provided by a pediatrician who specializes in child development and health promotion.

The Division of General Academic Pediatric Medicine at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters takes pride in providing an exemplary medical home to all children with a passionate commitment to the underserved and medically complex child.

The primary goal is to provide expert outpatient and inpatient clinical care which addresses the physical, emotional, educational, and social needs of our children and their families.

This Division strives to show excellence as academic and clinical teachers, while mentoring residents, medical students, and students of other health care disciplines.

The leadership and research skills provided in professional organizations on a local, state and national level, as well as our community service, challenges General Academic Pediatric Faculty and staff to provide the best pediatric healthcare now and in the future.
