Join CHKD, your local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, as they once again participate in the nationwide Torch Relay!! This 31-day relay will make its stop in Hampton Roads at the Oyster Point City Center on Tuesday, October 5th. Participants are invited to walk, run or cycle along to support the kids at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. Hampton Roads Retail Alliance will once again host a holiday window display contest, themed "Santa's Workshop", to benefit CHKD. Businesses throughout the region have signed up to decorate their windows for the season. A "People's Choice Award" will be chosen by customers of these stores who vote for their favorite window by donating money to the collection box in the corresponding store. Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be coming to town and stopping by the Padgett Family's Holiday Light Show for CHKD, located at 314 Suburban Parkway in Norfolk.
