eKiDs PowerChart Remote Access for Providers

eKIDs PowerChart, a graphical tool providing secure, remote access to data in real-time, is available to all admitting and referring physicians. The flexibility of PowerChart enables providers to customize viewing according to their specific needs and preferences. By accessing PowerChart, physicians are able to:

  • Create and filter individual lists based on relationship, admission or discharge criteria
  • Search for a patient by name or medical record number
  • Easily review updated information by bookmarking viewed data with a date and time stamp on the overview tab
  • Digitally view CHKD imaging using a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)

Display Settings

We recommend display settings of at least 800x600 and “true color”. If your setting is 640x480, you may notice graphics and text extending off the edge of your monitor, or wrapping around the screen and distorting the layout of the web pages.

If your color depth is 256 colors, you may notice areas in the web page where your display was forced to round a “true color” to one of the 256 “palette colors”. Sometimes this “rounding” results in a completely different color.
