Dr. Barker attended undergraduate and graduate school in Pennsylvania before coming to Hampton Roads for medical school. Here she met her husband, a Naval officer. She enjoys the opportunity to remain in Hampton Roads and practice medicine at CHKD with its proximity to military life and opportunity to care for a diverse population.
Dr. Barker has special interest in caring for the needs of adolescent females, breast feeding and infant care and development.
