She went on a medical mission’s trip to Honduras two consecutive years to help study asthma in rural underprivileged children who did not have readily accessible health care and brought better asthma treatment and access of care to these children.

Dr. Schank has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, keeping up with new advances in pediatric medicine and maintains her continuing medical education. She has a true passion to ensure each child is safe and well cared for, and takes a very proactive approach to her medical practice.
