Rajeshwari Kaloji

"I think pediatrics is a science as well as an art – the art of child rearing. With my diverse experience, I have learned to recognize and respect culturally different practices that impact pediatrics. I’m able to guide parents to differentiate harmless from harmful practices which might impact their child’s health. I love being a part of the CHKD family!"

Bio

Dr. Kaloji went to Medical School in India and hence ended up doing her residency training twice, once in India and again in the United States. She also worked for a year in England. Having worked in vastly different healthcare systems, she has been able to add a lot to her experience in pediatrics. Dr. Kaloji is easily able to relate to a very diverse population of patients and their families.

Dr. Kaloji chose to move to Hampton Roads and practice with Tidewater Children’s Associates because she wanted to be affiliated with a children’s hospital. She believes patient care as a pediatrician is complete only with the back up of all specialties and other ancillary services which are a part of a children’s hospital.

In her spare time, Dr. Kaloji enjoys singing, dancing and cooking.

Clinical Interests
Dr. Kaloji has special interest in asthma and obesity.
