Dr. Craig Derkay is president of the EVMS Faculty Senate as well as the Tidewater Pediatric Society and past-president of the Tidewater Otolaryngology and Opthalmology Society. He has been part of the leadership team at CHKD for many years as a member of the Medical Executive committee, Surgical Authorities committee, Medical Directors, Division Directors and various task forces. Dr. Derkay has written 127 peer-reviewed scientific publications and 33 book chapters. He and his wife, Dr. Kris Kennedy, have two adult children, daughter Alex and son Andy.
