Sibling Visits

Siblings older than 12 are welcome to visit during regular visiting hours but must be over 18 to stay overnight. Brothers and sisters younger than 12 may be allowed for brief visits if special arrangements are made. We will ask parents to verify that visiting children show no signs of illness and have not been exposed to a communicable disease in the previous 30 days.

Permission to visit patients in isolation or the PICU by siblings under the age of 12 is determined by a healthcare team, based on need and appropriateness. Child Life Specialists are available to help prepare visitors under the age of 12 and provide visitation guidelines to parents or legal guardians.
