Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies
CHKD offers physical, occupational and speech services work to help children of all ages overcome and adapt to the challenges of developmental delay, disease or accident.
For the convenience of patients and their families, CHKD offers assessment and therapy services at multiple locations.
Outpatient Therapy Services
Care is provided to patients ages from birth through 18 in an acute care hospital, acute rehabilitation setting and in seven outpatient sites. Our outpatient sites are conveniently located in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Newport News and Williamsburg.
Inpatient Therapy Services
The CHKD Therapy Services Department offers PT, OT and ST acute care to patients
during their
acute medical stay, as well as on the rehabilitation unit.
