"I love working with children and watching them blossom. Each one brings their own unique story and challenge."
Dr. Dominique Williams
American Board of Pediatrics
Medical School: Wright State University
Residency: Columbus Children's Hospital
As director of CHKD's Healthy You For Life initiative, Dr. Williams thoroughly enjoys being a pediatrician and attempts to convey that to her patients with each appointment. It's not unusual for her to draw pictures,
sing, or dance as a way to answer the many and varied
questions of some of her patients.
An Ohio native, Dr. Williams understands and appreciates that parents are the experts of
their children and feels she has as much to learn from them as they do from
her. She sees her role as their pediatrician is to serve as a "trusty
sidekick" to help them traverse their current medical challenge, using her "expert" knowledge in pediatrics, nutrition, and weight
management to help them down their path.
