CHKD Turns 50 -- and Look How Far We've Come

In 1961, CHKD opened as an 88-bed hospital. In 2011, it is the heart of a comprehensive pediatric health system with ambulatory surgery centers, outpatient health centers and pediatric practices serving every corner of the region.
