Endowment Funds

The Children's Campaign -- Click here for more information

Establishing an endowment fund creates lasting financial resources for Children's Hospital. These special funds can be named in honor or memory of a loved one, or can remain anonymous if you so choose.

Endowment funds can be directed to specific programs of the hospital, such as cancer, child abuse, or nursing scholarships, or can be established to support patient care. CHKD carefully manages our endowment funds. The principal of the fund is always retained, allowing it to grow in perpetuity. Income earned by endowment funds is used to support the programs named by the donor and enhance the quality of the CHKD's care. Further they allow us to plan for the future with strength and security.

You can establish a named endowment fund with a minimum gift of $25,000, and gifts of any size can be made to existing funds. Once an endowment fund is established, you may also add additional principal at any time and from multiple sources.

Endowment funds are critical to help us ensure our doors are open to the children of tomorrow who will need the specialized care only Children's Hospital can provide.

We invite you to become a partner with us to secure the future of children's healthcare in our region. For more information, call our Charitable Estate and Planned Giving Officer at (757) 668-7070.
