Dr. Higinio is of Peruvian-American descent and is fluent in Spanish.

She has a long-standing commitment to treating the Spanish-speaking community and the medically under-served.

Developing relationships and continuity of care with children and their families is central to her approach in caring for her patients.  She strives to educate her families at every visit with a caring, friendly, non-judgmental approach.
