Terrie Pyeatt - VP of Finance, CHKD

Duties

Pyeatt is responsible for overseeing the financial management and reporting for the Health System, including the revenue cycle. Her areas include accounting and budget, payroll and disbursements, contract management, patient financial services, case management, health information management, and financial analytics.

Background

Pyeatt has over 25 years of experience in finance, external auditing, and internal auditing, specializing almost exclusively in the nonprofit and government sector.

She has held leadership roles in multiple professional organizations at the state, local, and national levels.

Education

Pyeatt earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Rhode Island and a master's degree in accounting from Old Dominion University. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) licensed in Virginia.
