Dr. Sara Smith, Suffolk PediatricsSUFFOLK, Va. – CHKD Medical Group is pleased to welcome Dr. Sara Smith to Suffolk Pediatrics in Suffolk, Virginia.

Dr. Smith grew up in Annapolis, Maryland, and earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina.

She completed her master's of health science in reproductive and cancer biology at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland, and then earned her medical degree at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York.

Dr. Smith did her residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She has been working in the emergency department at CHKD as a chief resident since 2020.
