Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist - Cath Lab Cardiac

Echocardiograph Sonographer - Cardiac Diagnostic Unit

Schedule: Full-Time w/call

Shift: Days/Evenings/Nights Weekend/Holiday Call

Under the general direction of the Department Director/Manager, performs noninvasive echocardiography diagnostic testing on pediatric, fetal and adult patients with ability to identify normal and congenital heart malformations as well as repaired and unrepaired anatomy. Assesses ultrasound images for identification of problem areas for focused review of images and data. Identifies which images to record to film for physician review. Provides echocardiography services following established policies, procedures and regulations.  Educates patients and families.  Oversees the daily operation of echocardiograph services and equipment.  Participates in research projects.  Initiates on-going quality assurance.  Assists with creating and updating echocardiograph policies and procedures.  Ensures continuing education requirements are met.  Demonstrates knowledge of noninvasive cardiac diagnostic testing as well as operation and maintenance of equipment including electrocardiograms, Holter monitor application and screening, and exercise stress testing.  Performs other duties as assigned.

CHKD’s new mental health service line is seeking licensed, master-prepared mental health professionals who value early intervention, innovation in treatment and integration with boarder medical system. 

The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) reports to the department leadership and is responsible for conducting mental health assessments with children and adolescents to determine mental health diagnosis and risk for harm to self or others.  Provides a comprehensive evaluation of bio-psychosocial problems resulting from acute or chronic illness, trauma, or disability, as well as the primary support group, educational system, social environment, legal system, and other psychosocial and environmental problems.  Facilitates admission to inpatient psychiatric facilities as well as referrals to outpatient behavioral health services.  Provides on-going counseling services to the patient and/or family to include individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions.  Ensures comprehensive assessment and recommended treatment plan are submitted for reimbursement to third party payer sources based on established guidelines.  Provides assessment, counseling, and resource services as necessary. May function in an on-call capacity as necessary to meet the needs of the organization. Travel to offsite locations may be required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Senior Project Manager, Construction - Facility Planning Construction

Reports to the Operating Room Manager. The Surgical Technician is responsible for assisting the RN and surgeon during operative procedures. Arranges and inventories sterile set up utilizing knowledge of asepsis and sterilization techniques.
