Bio
Mary Jo is a certified pediatric specialist with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nutrition at Pennsylvania State University and completed a dietetic internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Mary Jo is most passionate about nutrition-related issues involving kids’ growth and development. More specifically, she enjoys using nutrition to help children with autism, those who are failing to thrive, picky eaters, and those with intellectual disabilities.
Working at CHKD gives Mary Jo the rewarding feeling of helping kids heal while they learn the importance of good nutrition for a healthy life and future.
