Bio
Dr. Jean Kim comes to CHKD from the Midwest where she practiced pediatric infectious diseases at Advocate Children's Hospital for several years.
Dr. Kim has an academic interest in medical education. Prior to relocating to Norfolk, Dr. Kim held the position of Former Discipline Chair and Pediatric Education Director/Clerkship Director at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University.
Research Area
During fellowship, Dr. Kim studied bacterial pathogenesis at the University of Pennsylvania.

Community Involvement
As a classically trained pianist, Dr. Kim has accompanied a local children's choir and school musicians.
