Bio
Danielle Young grew up in the Chesapeake area of Virginia. After graduating from Great Bridge High School, she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in exercise science from Old Dominion University. She worked at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation for
almost five years.
Danielle decided to go to PA school to expand her medical career after having a daughter with a rare genetic disorder, which taught her the importance of parent education and advocacy. As a physician assistant, Danielle knew she could help others navigate their medical journeys.
In her free time, Danielle loves to spend time with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs. She and her family enjoy playing board games, baking bread, and going to the beach.
