Bio
Sherry has worked in clinical, sports and eating disorders throughout her career as a Dietitian. Her interest in nutrition started in college which transformed into a true passion for teaching people how to have a healthy relationship with food. She graduated with a Dual Masters in Nutritional Sciences and Exercise
Physiology and earned her Bachelors in Foods and Nutrition at San Diego State University. In the last 4 years, she has worked with eating disorder patients in all levels of treatment. Sherry is also Board Certified in Sports Dietetics and has experience working with high school and middle school, collegiate and
professional athletes helping them with their performance nutrition and fueling for their sport.
Throughout Sherry’s experiences she is constantly inspired by the openness and perseverance of her patients. She customizes her treatment based on each patient’s needs and provides individualized consultations that focus on more than just nutrition information, but the support to help clients improve their
relationship with food and body image.
At CHKD, she works at the Outpatient Nutrition and Sport Medicine Clinics. She counsels patients with a broad spectrum of nutritional needs and concerns as well as helping athletes learn how to fuel properly and address any nutrition concerns that could interfere with their performance.
