Bio
Dr. Tatem is an academic general pediatrician who has returned to CHKD as the Medical Director for Mental Health Pediatrics as well as Vice Chair of Diversity for the Department of Pediatrics.
Dr. Tatem, a native of Norfolk, earned her medical degree from EVMS and completed her residency and chief residency at CHKD.
She is devoted to caring for children and adolescents from all backgrounds, but particularly those from underrepresented and marginalized communities.
