Bio

Monica May Lombos, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, was born and raised in the Hampton Roads. 

She has always had a passion for children, and began her nursing career at CHKD in 2018. During her time as a bedside nurse, she was one of the first nurses to work on CHKD's medical psychiatric unit. 

Monica May decided to continue her education and become a nurse practitioner. She is now combining her two interests of pediatrics and mental health, while working on her doctorate at Old Dominion University. 

In her free time, Monica May enjoys spending time with her family and friends, training jiu jitsu, and going to concerts.
