Moriah Blackmon is a licensed professional counselor who graduated from Regent University in 2019. She has experience working with children, adolescents and families through community-based services (intensive in-home), crisis stabilization, and outpatient care. Using a strengths-based and person-centered approach, Blackmon utilizes different treatment modalities to effectively address the specific needs of each child and family and help them achieve overall mental and emotional wellness and well-being.

Blackmon is trained in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, MATCH, critical incident stress management, and grief counseling. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, going to the beach and spending time with her family and two dogs.
