Dr. Mehta was born in the picturesque foothills of the Himalayas in northern India. He attended medical school at IGMC Shimla, where he developed a strong foundation in medical sciences and mental health. Following this, Dr. Mehta moved to the United States to complete his residency at St. Louis University in Missouri. During his residency, he also completed an advanced psychodynamic psychotherapy program at the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute. He is deeply committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to his patients.

Dr. Mehta values working closely with families, considering their input invaluable to the treatment process and their treatment outcomes. By incorporating families into the care team, Dr. Mehta ensures a holistic and collaborative approach to patient care.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Mehta enjoys traveling, hiking, photography, reading, meditation, and spending quality time with his family. These hobbies not only bring balance to his life but also enrich his empathetic approach to patient care.
