Bio
Dr. York is originally from Maryland, but has lived in several areas of the East coast, including New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, New York, and Alabama.
Dr. York earned his medical degree with research honors from Jacobs School of Medicine at the University at Buffalo and his bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in communication arts from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania.
During the course of his studies and training, he developed a deep passion for those suffering from psychiatric illness as well as unraveling the intricate psychosocial determinants of health influencing their wellness as well as treatment success.
Dr. York has done extensive research on the social determinants of health for patients suffering from chronic kidney disease. He has also researched assessing global functioning in patients suffering from mental illness.
