Bio
After graduating from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Samuel completed her residency at the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine. She then completed her fellowship at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine/UCLA Medical Center.
During her fellowship at UCLA, Dr. Samuel cared for children with juvenile arthritis, amplified pain, and lupus. Her research interests include lupus and vasculitis.
Dr. Samuel has a passion for medical education and has given lectures on various pediatric rheumatology topics such as juvenile arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) at UCLA and University of Nevada, Las
Vegas (UNLV).
Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Samuel has an interest in global health initiatives. She is also committed to providing care and advocating for underserved communities and medical equity.
