Bio
Dr. Nottingham has worked at TCA since 2002. Having lived in the area off and on since 1979 due to military ties, he attended EVMS after majoring in Biology at the University of Virginia. While completing residency at the University of North Carolina, he knew he wanted to return to Norfolk and CHKD. In addition to practicing medicine, he enjoys teaching residents and medical students in the office. He is active on several committees, including the Children's Medical Group and Immunization Committee.
Dr. Nottingham prides himself on practicing logical, evidence-based medicine. He strives to educate his patients as much as possible about their medical problems. He believes in prevention, appropriate testing, and judicious use of antibiotics.
He lives in Norfolk with his wife and two children. His wife is a physical therapist at CHKD. He enjoys cooking, baseball, music, and spending time with his family.
