Bio
After medical school at the University of Texas, Dr. Conley completed a 7-year residency in neurosurgery at VCU and a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. He is the lead author of a chapter on congenital spinal malformations (occult spinal dysraphism) in the textbook, Spine Surgery Techniques, Complication Avoidance, and Management. Dr. Conley’s interest in surgery began at a young age; he was drawn to pediatric neurosurgery because of its unique challenges and the opportunity to dramatically improve his young patients’ lives.
