Dr. Moskal is a pediatric orthopedic spine surgeon at CHKD. Dr. Moskal graduated from Brown University in Providence, RI with a bachelor’s degree in Neurosciences with Distinction. During his time there, he was also a four-year letter-winner as a pitcher for Brown’s varsity baseball team, and helped lead the program to its first Ivy League Baseball Championship in the school’s history. Dr. Moskal attended Eastern Virginia Medical School, where he graduated with Honors, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He then went on to complete an additional year of fellowship training in pediatric orthopedics at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC.
Dr. Moskal has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and has presented his research at several national and regional meetings. His clinical interests encompass a wide spectrum of pediatric orthopaedic injuries and conditions, including scoliosis and spinal deformity, pediatric fracture care, pediatric foot and ankle deformity, and pediatric sports medicine.
In his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling, kayaking, oil painting, playing acoustic and bass guitar, and spending time with his fiancée Katie and their beloved Maltipoo, Lola.
