Bio
Ackerman completed a sports residency program at the University of Delaware where closely mentored clinical experiences gave her insight and skill to provide treatment to athletes both on and off the field. With this knowledge, Ackerman has helped to grow CHKD’s ACL rehabilitation program focusing on athlete-centered care from injury through the athlete’s return to sport.
Ackerman also serves as adjunct faculty in two physical therapy programs teaching on vestibular rehab, ACL rehab, and management of adolescent athletes.
