Bio
Stone is a Virginia Beach native and graduate of Ocean Lakes High’s Math and Science Academy.
She found a love for working with children of all ages and a desire to give back to her community early on, working in her church’s nursery, teaching Sunday school, and attending various mission trips.
Prior to graduate school school, she worked as an assistant preschool teacher, then a medical assistant at a general surgery office. She also began volunteering as an Emergency Medical Technician, which she continues to do today.
After earning her Master of Physician Assistant at EVMS, Stone completed a pediatric urgent care fellowship through EVMS and CHKD. This opportunity expanded her knowledge base and allowed her to gain experience to become a more well-rounded, confident pediatric physician assistant.
Stone thrives in fast-paced, challenging situations and looks forward to practicing in the ever-changing world of pediatric urgent care.
