Here are a few simple tips to put all that media to good use without overdoing it:

  • Limit screen time to two hours per day. Children under 2 should have no screen time at all.
  • Create screen-free zones in the house and avoid having TV’s or computers in kids’ bedrooms.
  • Set a good example by limiting screen exposure for yourself.
  • Schedule screen-free family game nights and outings.
