I love being part of a team with the purpose of caring for kids of all ages! CHKD is a positive place, always raising the bar in the delivery of care!
Bio
Melody is a board-certified pediatric specialist in dietetics who received her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics at Iowa State University and her master’s degree in nutrition at UNC-Greensboro. She is a team member of the CHKD Cystic Fibrosis Center and sees pediatric as well as adult patients. She also has a special interest in helping kids with pediatric feeding disorders and is a member of the Feeding Assessment Program. Melody loves being part of a team whose purpose is providing excellent care to children.
Melody has over 25 years of experience in pediatric nutrition. In her spare time, she goes to farmer’s markets and is a member of the Buy Fresh Buy Local organization in Hampton Roads.
